Bottom Fishing
The main targeted species in the Miami area are; sailfish, dolphin, and kingfish. They are, however, not the only species of fish that you might catch during your fishing trip. Bottom fishing produces Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellow-tail Snapper, and several species of Groupers. These fish are caught year round and are very tasty. These fish are caught on bottom rods while drifting or anchored up on one of the many artificial reefs located off the coast of Miami and Key Biscayne. Barracuda, Jack Cervalle, and all kind of sharks will also show up during your fishing trip.
